Red Grid 2.0 Inkjet Printable Heat Transfer Sheets (Light)

These 8.5 x 11 inch sheets provide a vibrant image that can be transferred onto WHITE OR LIGHT fabrics (tightly woven cotton or poly/cotton recommended). It works with all inkjet printers except HP deskjet 1200C and 1600C. The transfer can be applied with a heat press or hand iron. The manufacturer cautions that heat press application will produce the best quality and durability. Create impressive designs on its own or layer with Siser stripflock for a rich, textured look. Preshrink 100% cotton beforehand or ensure garment label reads " pre-shrunk". Keep product in closed package between uses. Store in a cool, dry place.

Steps

Printing Instructions
- MIRROR IMAGE your artwor before printing. Single-sheet feeding is recommended.
- Set printer for normal image quality (do NOT over saturate with ink).
- Print your image on the white imaging side of the sheet (not the side with red grid lines).

Trim Your Printed Design
- Before transferring, cut as close to the image as possible, leaving no margin. For best results (optional), use a design with rounded edges to avoid corner lift-off after washing.

Peel Off Lined Paper Backing
- Slightly tear the backing paper on the edge of the paper and gently peel away.

Using a Household Iron
- Use in a well-ventilated area.
- Preheat on highest setting. DO NOT USE STEAM
- Prepare a hard surface, NOT an ironing board. ( A 24 x 24 piece of MDF from a home improvement store works great).
- Place a pillowcase or t-shirt between your hard surface and your garment to allow the heat to penetrate the transfer.
- If fabric is wrinkly, press first to ensure flatness, then let cool.
- Position the transfer paper with the design facing up in the desired position on your garment/bag, etc.
- Cover transfer paper with a teflon sheet or silicon paper to protect the image during transfer.
- With firm pressure, press and move slowly across holding each press for 45 seconds ensuring all edges and corners are firmly pressed and overlapped. Continue and press over the entire image again holding for 45 sec until the entire image has been pressed. Total ironing time should be 5-6 min if using a 8.5 x 11 inch size transfer image.
- After pressing, HOT PEEL TRANSFER IMMEDIATELY from garment. Caution: transfer will be hot.

Using a Heat Press
- Use in a well-ventilated area.
- Preheat heat press to 345-355 degrees F. (Heat presses vary. Test to see which temp works best for you.)
- If fabric is wrinkly, press first to ensure flatness, then let cool.
- Position the transfer paper with the design facing up in the desired position on your garment/fabric, etc.
- Cover transfer paper with a teflon sheet or silicon paper to protect the image during transfer.
- Using the above recommended temperature, apply firm pressure for 20 seconds.
- After pressing, HOT PEEL TRANSFER IMMEDIATELY from garment. Caution: transfer will be hot.
